Sims in library don’t have the correct amount of money

This is beginning to frustrate me. I remake all the townies in all my worlds, from cas, to careers, to skills. I am extremely detail oriented and an easily frustrated when everything’s not perfect. So you can imagine how I feel when I save sims to my library, go to another save, try add them to my world there, and the amount of money that they have is entirely different from what I saved them on. I THINK it’s the amount of money they had before I cheated it differently, but I’m not positive. Please help, this makes me feel like I might be missing other things as well, and I want all my renditions of each sim to be the exact same. Believe me, I’ve tried restarting my PlayStation, going from offline to online, I’ve put the new sim in the world, changed their money, and then save them to my library, just to have the exact same issue again. Like I said, PLEASE help.

    Yes I am still having this issue. I apologize, I’m not on here very often, although I should be. When I remake the townies, I give them their own specified amount of money, so it’s no not the original 20k. I believe they're all going back to the amount they had, prior to me changing it with cheats.

    Do you change it and then upload ?

    If so, try this:

    • Change to the household
    • Change the amount
    • Save the game
    • Restart the game or switch households back to something else
    • Go back to the household you want to upload and upload.


    Maybe the money change didn't go through if you just change and upload.

    I attempted this just now. I went to the household, changed the money, saved the game, restarted the game, then saved to my library and tried placing the household. I also tried it by saving to the gallery instead. None of these worked. I think ea just bugged it out 🥲

    How much do they import with? If it’s the default amount for a new household of that size, it’s possible they no longer preserve the amount on purpose, as of earlier this year? Depends on how they did this: “Household funds should not differ depending on how households are being placed from the gallery. No more households importing with negative Simoleons.”

    But it only happens if you change the money, right ? If you leave it at what it is and the upload, that's the amount you get as well ? I would understand if it was 20K all the time but it being the amount from before you changed it is odd.

    Can't find another report in the bug forum atm although I though there was still an open issue with money and the gallery.

    Currently can't test this myself unfortunately and don't have any other suggestions but will put it on my list to test after new years.

    I gave this a test and for me it was as follows

    Had a household with 800§

    Uploaded that. Sim to download had the 20K

    Cheated 50 k and uploaded that.

    Sim had the 50800  she was supposed to have.

    Which cheat did you use ?
