Gamepacks not found on Mac??

I've had this issue for about a month now and I check in every week whether it has been solved by itself. I had bought the university pack and already accomplished most of the gameplay for it, I build a new home for my sim and a couple days later my sims become unresponsive and yelling that they are blocked from walking to a place (this is not true at all because her house is spacious and has been accessible before). After this incident my loading screen is a random family i've never seen before, the name of the family household is a random eery bug with overlapped 'WWWWWW'. When I play to continue my last game it refuses for me to play because suddenly I don't have the university gamepack... I checked out my other games and it does not load my previously made characters but leads me straight to making a new sim? My old family is no where to be found, this is an issue with ALL my other saved games.. This needs to be fixed asap because I'm putting my money into these packs too and was hoping to get more.
