Can't move family into lot

I'd like to report a problem with The Sims 4. I play with mods but everything had been fine until now. Today, when I tried to play, I created a family and house, but when I attempt to move the family onto any lot, the game doesn't actually move them there. I can't control the Sims, nor can I move them into the house or anywhere else, whenever I click on a lot, it just takes me back to the location selection screen, and the cycle repeats.
