autumnwe5The animal aging setting applies to chickens, cows, llamas, and possibly sheep and goats. It does not apply to cats, dogs, or horses. So if you don't have Cottage Living or Horse Ranch, you may not have the setting.
Cats, dogs, and horses are part of the household and so age or not based on the household setting. If you want aging on for your active household, but want to extend your pets' lives, you can get age-down treats* from the vending machine at the vet.
*Edit: these treats are for cats & dogs - there might be something similar for horses?
Edit 2: You can also make the age-down treats at home if you get the machine for it. Also, if you have My First Pet Stuff, they are not affected by the animal aging toggle either but you can buy age-down treats for them on the computer.
