Curved Roofs?
What EP did curved roofs (Like for a Hobbit house, say) come in? I thought it was Cottage Living, but maybe it was Eco Living instead? I'm trying to make a gypsy vardo (wagon) and I can NOT figure out how to make the roof curved? If someone could advise me on which EP that ability came in, and/or how to make a curved roof, I'd sincerely appreciate it. Thank you in advance!
The Sims 4 & Steam I need my 20 years of progress back
Okay I am a avid The Sims 4 player,I've been playing since 2001. Long story short, my son was interested in playing on my PC. He install steam and had the sims there, I disabled my mods, and he commence to build. The next day I sat to play my game and when I went into the sims through EA my family and builds are gone. Only the character he created is there. Is there a way to get my game as it was back. I had so many time consuming builds that took me forever to create and I had my family for generations. I am absolutely distraught, that's my "away from the world" coping mechanism. Someone please tell me this is recoverable. Oh all my things are saved it's just that my towns are blank. I don't want to go through the task of assigning everyone and everything back to the way I had it.
Is for rent worth it?
Hi, I really want to buy the for rent expansion pack but I have my doubts because of the corruption risk. I intend to play in the same save file for a really long time with aging of (no overly complicated family trees, relations ex), I have only two worlds with all lots occuptied, I delete townies who I do not care about. If I buy the for rent pack I intend to play with 2 or 3 rental units in the same lot. Is it safe to buy because from what I've heard for rent can causes corruption (higher risk) if there's to many rental units or a save file with lots of generations (legacy players). With the new update (laundry list of 150+ bux fixes) on november 4th i feel hopeful, but please help me before I buy it and then regret it later ;( (I play with mods and cc, but I back up my saves everytime before I update and I update my mods regularly)
What is the limit for Crypts?
I haven't played the Sims 4 in nearly 4 years but have been buying each and every DLC (other than most kits) as they go on sale (and the latest one before a sale). Last week I returned to actually playing, starting a whole new game to do the Forever Friends event and continuing from there. Anywho, one of the things I'm doing in the new game is slowly getting all of the different worlds set up (improving/replacing existing lots, filling empty lots, etc.). I have a couple of different cemeteries in place now and would like to know what's the limit on how many urns a "Crypt" can hold? I can't find an answer to this anywhere, but I feel like there has to be some kind of limit. If it's higher, I don't really need more than a crypt or two, which I already have in place, but if it's super low I'll want to add more. (P.S. It's a little overwhelming coming back to 4 years of Game, Expansion and Stuff pack additions. The game has gotten huge in terms of all of the different mechanics and systems present.)
