Unstoppable "Always on the move - View lessons" notification!
Hi everyone, is anyone else experiencing this or having problems with notifications? I’m having an issue with my game. Even without any CC or Mods, I keep getting the "Always on the move - View lessons" notification nonstop. What’s going on?? I can’t even play because it’s so distracting! Does anyone know what might be causing this or how to fix it? I’d really appreciate any advice!
Sim cannot go to prom
Hello, no matter what I have tried, my sim cannot go to prom. I have researched and many have said it clashes with Get Famous, so I launched my game without the pack and it still did not work. I have also taken out all custom content and mods to see if that was the issue and it still did not work. I have turned off aging and it did not work. Prom has come around 4 times now. One of the times, I got the pre-prom get together invitation and it took me there, then I got the pop-up notification that prom was starting and I selected the option to go to the prom with him, then nothing happened. The game just went on like nothing happened, and prom was no longer on the calendar. Another time, I went to the pre-prom get together, then come 7 pm I don't get any notification that prom is starting. Once again, prom just vanishes off the calendar. The most recent time, I got the invitation to the pre-prom get together and prompted my sim to go, and then nothing happened. So I waited around until 7, and no surprise there was no pop-up notification to go to prom, and it just vanishes off the calendar. I am at a loss for what else I can even do. It's very frustrating as nothing else in the High School years expansion pack really excites me, and prom is what I was most excited for. When researching ways to fix this problem, most people posting about it are from 2 years ago, so I'm very confused on how this bug is still not fixed. Has anyone been able to go to prom with their sim??
Week 6 Social Event Goal
This isn't a question, just an observation. When I was at the end of the event and had to Host a Social Event with goals and rewards, I used the Calendar to plan it. My twin's birthday was coming up, and I figured that would do the trick. It did not. Come to find out you have to read the fine print on how to host the event. It will ONLY work if you use your phone > Social App > Plan a Social Event. It was only then that it counted towards the Grim Reaper's goal. I'm not sure who needed to read this, but here it is. Is there a way I can store my university diploma in a chest or packing crate?
So i’m planning on passing all the important stuff to the next generations. Like all of the things the previous sims got from their careers or events and also school. I have the packing crate mod so i can put stuff from the household inventory into that and take it to the next house but the university diploma can’t be put in it because it can just go into your inventory. but the thing is i want to be able to put the diploma in a chest or some sort of storage with the other things that can’t be put into a crate and just bring that whole thing with me without having a bunch of things all over the next sims inventory. the chest lets me put in all of my stuff EXCEPT for the diploma. is there a better way i can pass it on or put it in storage?
Camera Controls not Working the Same
I'm not sure if this was part of the most recent update or not, since i didn't see anything about it in the update notes. For reference: I use a trackpad, and use the sims 4 camera (any other way is just very difficult for me to grasp, i've tried). Before, when i wanted to rotate my camera angle on an x-axis (so up/down) i would click the right-click button, and scroll to rotate on my trackpad. Now, when i right-click it rotates the camera angle on a y-axis (so left-right). In fact, at this point i don't even know how to rotate the camera on an x-axis because nothing is working. But more than that, I would like to figure out how to get the controls to work the way they used to. If anyone knows HOW to fix this or has even heard of this problem before (i've tried looking online but haven't had much luck so i'm making my own post here) i'd be so grateful for ANY help!! If I should be posting this in a different forum also pls let me know!! Also, if this actually IS part of the update and is intentional i'd love to know that too. I'll be so gutted if that's the case as i don't see a reason for it, but it would be nice to know if this is a problem that even has a solution lol. I'd die for the sims 4 camera/trackpad combo, i wanna keep hope alive :( (i have no mods also)
Bug with Events in "For Rent" house
Hi. My Sim got notification about ghost hunting in rented house. I came to house just right after notification and "Talked to ghost" to get rid off it. After that I'm getting nottification about "Nothing was done to deal with the ghost at the place called Fairytale Corner. As a result, the apartment's assessment went down." That's 3rd situation like that. Previous was some demonic book and other ghost. Anybody know how to fix it?
Changing outfits for NPCs
I’m looking into doing a medieval challenge sometime next year and am curious as to whether I can change the outfits of characters such as the Crumplebottom, stall owners like Kim Goldbloom, and the mayor of Henford without them losing their jobs? Or do they have to wear those outfits no matter what?
