Install File Location Auto-Changing
Is anyone else having a problem where the game isn’t loading because it’s pulling from the wrong location? I went into my settings in the EA app to manually change it but it never updates the link. I even tried copying the correct folder into the file path it’s pulling from and it creates a folder that doesn’t work :( because of this I haven’t even been able to play! I also tried uninstalling & repairing the game and nothing has worked so far. I noticed this happened after the recent update. Does anyone have any tips/advice/suggestions on how to fix this?

So I tried downloading a couple of mods for my sims4 and I downloaded quite a bit but when i tried to load my game it failed. Then I moved all the mods to my desktop and tried to play the game that way but when I opened it the front page wasn’t my household it was some new one that i haven’t seen before. So I pressed load game and pressed on my household that i had saved but it was loading for a decade so I dropped that idea and reset the game now when I try to do the same it won’t even let me go to the game directly but i go to the pick world thingy and when I press on the house where my sims lived at it doesn’t say anything just create a new household to move in even tho i pressed play game for a household already.. CAN SOMEONE HELP???Stuck in world choice
Okay, so let me try to break down everything I have tried. SO... I open the game everything loads fine, make a sim, everything is fine, go to find the world and home for said sim, everything fine until I choose the home. Then whenever it is in the loading stage where usually you'd see your sim and their home and begin their life, it now goes right back to the world choice map. Over and over again no matter what I hit but it is showing the household I had just made in the home I just chose. I have mods, but for this instance I did uninstall them and try again, no luck. I tried launching from desktop, steam, and EA. I have updated all my drivers, apps and then mods. Made sure there was no malware and tried launching and it all goes the exact same way, and then I am stuck in world choice. Over and over, no gameplay just world choice and that is all I get. I have tried to delete the app and then reinstall, I even looked into to doing the different update from before this recent patch just to see if that was the issue. And, yet... NO LUCK... Please someone help me.Is 'offline mode' not supported anymore?
I noticed the community have encountered countless issues with this latest patch. Besides the obvious, It has also been reported some players paid packs are not showing up correctly and the new Gallery update has removed the ability to access the gallery while in 'offline mode'. Giving how the markeplace is structured and how packs are managed including the changes with how the game stores data - does this mean we are forced to always play 'online' and offline mode is now not supported?
Sims can hug while in different rooms
Don’t be fooled when they said they fix some bugs. They didn’t, when my sims interacted by hugging they both stood in two different rooms and their arms extended to each other. But other then that my game is somewhat playable like if i ignore when my sims interact with hugging someone, I haven’t seen how it looks to kiss or physical affection someone but ea once again didn’t fix stuff that has been in the game before. Game says I do not own the content but I do
I recently bought the new expansion pack, royalty and legacy, but every time I load into the game it says i do not own this content. I have checked my bank statements and the money for the pack was removed, in the EA app it says I own this content and it is in my library. But in game it says I don't have it. I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling the whole game, uninstalling and reinstalling just the expansion pack, clearing the cache, repairing the game; nothing works. I do not have any cc or mods downloaded and the game is updated to the most current version. please help!
Cant Visit Small Businesses with Sims not in Household
I'm having trouble traveling to small businesses with sims that I invite using my phone that are not in my household. They don't seem to be checking in when I press the "check in with group" option. When I press "go here together here" somewhere inside the business they wave a hand in the air and have a thought bubble with the business sign in it. So I'm wondering if there's a different way to get them to check in or if I can only go to small businesses with household members?How to move a sim to a different household?
Hello! I am not a smart man. I made a household with one Sim that was supposed to be a lone adult, but I decided to make him a family and put them across town in Willow's Creek. He has a mother and a brother and I have no idea how to fix family relationships to make him related to them, so they're just two separate households. I also want to know how to transfer the brother over to my main household, or if it is possible, is it possible to shift between two households and move his brother back and forth. Is it also somehow possible to control a random sim from a different household, cause I want them to level up with the same skill and go on adventures together and then drop him off at his mother's house, cause both of them are unemployed losers and the joke is that the brother is older than my main sim and neither of them will ever accomplish anything, but I don't want the brother to stay in the main household cause he's a background character in his story. I wanna pick him up and drop him off in another household after every adventure to places like the Jungle Adventure pack. CC is acceptable as an answer too! Thanks for reading this.
