Why are the Sims only known as their "form" still and not their pronouns? I am trans masc. I go by He/Him. I would never call myself wife. Some others may, but I would not. Calling me someone's wife is misgendering me. So why can't it be the same for Sims that I make as trans? If I choose the female form, they will only be known as wife or sister, never partner or sibling which are the neutral terms that should be in the game. Same for the male form. They are only husband or brother, even when they're She/Her. And yes, it happens even if you select all the options to make them appear fully feminine. The game still only recognizes their form, not who they actually are. Gender is still FORCED on our Sims, after SIX full years of being constantly misgendered and abused in a game that was supposed to have been made inclusive in 2016. How can a company claim to be inclusive of trans people, but then mock players for making trans Sims? You'd think spending six years making a pronouns option and rewriting the notifications that the EA teams who went into CAS to add that pronoun option would have easily seen this massive issue. I'd think after six whole years working on something as easy as this, it would have been perfect when the update came out.
