Get to Work Help

Join one of the careers that allow you to go to work with your sim (Police, scientist, doctor)

GTW doesn't add a new storyline. Most DLC's don't. They just add new features. Seasons for example adds weather and seasons. GTW adds some new careers you can go to work with your sim.

Just have a sim look for a new job and you'll see them in the career list, Doctor, Scientist, or Detective.

@Indigobluejelly, are you having problems with finding the new Get to Work careers to play , or are you having problems getting the game to play at all after downloading Get To Work?🤔

I’m having trouble even finding it.  I used to play it all the time.  But when I logged in this time there are no options to choose any of those careers.  Dashboard page says I own it, then says view in my library.  I push that button and nothing comes up. 

@Indigobluejelly,thank you for replying to my question! 😇 I'm thinking perhaps your game might have been purchased, but for some reason it didn't install.🤔 😞 If you log into Origin, and then go to My Game Library , there should be what looks like a box with The Sims 4 on it.  When you hover your cursor over the Sims 4 box picture, there should appear a black band at the bottom of the picture of the box that has a star and says "New add-on content has been installed". 🙂  (This little black band will eventually disappear the next time you log on to Origin, so if you logged on and off more than once since you got Get to Work, it might not show the message even if it has been installed. 🤨 )

I'm trying to find other ways to see if and what has been installed into the game, so I will have to get back to you on that...😇

@Indigobluejelly, additionally, you can go into Origin and into your Game Library where I had you go before.  There you can Right-click  on the Sims 4 box picture and choose "Show Game Details".  A black box will pop up - go to near the bottom and choose on the right where it says "More" with an arrow pointing down.  When you click on that you can scroll down and choose to see your Expansion Packs, Game Packs, or Stuff Packs.  In your case choose Expansion Packs and scroll down until you see Get to Work.  In each EPs description there should be a circle with a green check mark (located above the orange "Details" box) and by the green circled check mark it should say "Installed"!!! 🤞
