Ghost Problems - Sims 4
Why does the one ghost have pink highlights? I've sent both to the netherworld. She isn't pink, it's just highlights. Does anyone know what this means?

@kaleaofclouds, yes! 🙂 The color of the glow tells you what mood the ghost is in. Pink means they are in a flirty" mood, but it could mean they are hysterical if the pink is a darker purplish/pink color. But don't be surprised if they change colors while talking to them! The ghost that doesn't have any color to their glow is just in the "fine" mood which means they have no moodlets.😉
- this also could mean that the ghost was an alien before becoming a ghost. How did the sim die? How you are able to tell how a ghost died? By the traits, it should have a trait saying "Death by___" if this is a ghost that you are playing.
- The thing is, she isn't fully pink, just highlighted on her hair and such.
@kaleaofclouds, I'm sorry I missed that the ghost was only pink in its highlight! 🤭 😳 But that got me thinking that @V8CuckooFlower might have had a point about the possibility of the ghost being an Alien (albeit in disguise) when they died. (Because Aliens when alive will glow if they feel strong enough emotion, but only as a highlight.) I've only had one Alien die in my game, and I couldn't remember which save file I had that household in. So, I made a household with an alien, and killed them off 1) in their alien form and 2) in disguised form. (I quit the game without saving to do this).

This was the same Alien Ghost. Mine is actually the color of her emotion, and not just highlighted. Perhaps that particular Alien is glitched in some way? Do you perhaps play with Mods or Custom Content (CC)? 🤔 Mods/CC often cause problems with the game in strange ways.🤨
@PugLove888 I don't have any other mods, and I don't have the Get To Work pack, so no aliens. Who knows I guess?
@kaleaofclouds, Could you perhaps include a picture of the ghost. It might help! 🙂
I suppose just one of your ghosts could just be glitched 🤔, but I am asking some others to see if they have encountered this before! I will get back to you when I hear anything... 🤞
@kaleaofclouds, you wouldn't happen to be playing with low graphics setting, would you?🤔 If you aren't sure you can check in the Game Options section. 😉
