glass floor tiles from Island living...

So, I'm trying put glass floors in my house. As stated in my title of this post, I'm using the tiles from Island living. I'm sure many of you know that because these tiles are not considered a build item you have to place them one by one...

My problem is that when I hit shift It only lets me place so many tiles before holding shift stops working and I have to restart my game to get it to work again. I don't know if this is a bug in the game or a problem with my keyboard/laptop but any help resolving this issue is welcomed. Thank you in advance...

OH, I've already cleaned my keyboard of any possible obstructions, and I currently have no mods installed.
