Go to rabbithole (debug)?
I was scrolling YouTube & saw a video that interested me by Ixdice. The video begins saying the player will use no mods. Then the player shift-clicks an elder sim & selects "go to rabbithole (debug)"...

@iheartsandwiches Hello! I'm going to give that person the benefit of the doubt and say they probably did not mean to mislead anyone. Looking at the image you shared, it's clear they have Wonderful Whims installed. This mod does add a number of shift+click cheat options that would not be available in a vanilla game save. Another one I see in your image is Cheat Emotion Intensity.
Maybe they meant to say they weren't using mods (or mod features) that change any aspects of normal gameplay? For example, mods that shorten the amount of time it takes to write music / books or to do homework. The Wonderful mod has some options that affect things like attraction and woo hoo. There is also an option to change the number of days in a pregnancy. However, aside from that, it doesn't really impact most other gameplay.
Depending on the intent of the video, I think I'd give them a pass. Perhaps they just didn't remember it was in there or, like you said, they were just accustomed to seeing those things after playing with the mod for a long time. Although, if the video is a "let's play" designed to show others what they will encounter in a vanilla game save, they should probably redo it and either take the mod out or explain what mod features they are using. Also, I think it would be okay to politely mention in a comment that the "go to rabbithole" cheat is not a vanilla cheat. :-)

Honestly I'm not trying to call them out so much as I wanted to know if there is something I'm missing in the game. I play console & PC so I don't use mods for obvious reason, I can't. A lot of us console players get advice like, "Hey try this cool challenge!" Only to find out it's not even possible on console because it requires a mod. I honestly think there are a lot of PC players who are so reliant on MCC they don't know what is in the actual game anymore. I'm utterly baffled why SimTubers use MC dresser to change a Sims outfit when they can do the same thing with far less clicks directly on the Sim. Stuff like that.

@iheartsandwiches Correct. The "go to rabbithole" cheat is not a vanilla cheat. It's not exactly added by any mod. It's just that some mods can enable more cheats than are available without them in a vanilla game.
