Going to university deletes collections

When i moved my sim into a dorm, the collectable page went blank.

Did you just move the entire household or did you move them out into a new household ?

If it's the latter, does the family that stayed in the original household still have their collections ?

Nothing yet, it's probably a bug, that they have to fix.

household collections are tied to a household and not a Sim. So if you move your Sim from one household to another. IIRC you always move the Sim into the uni household when moving into a dorm, right ?

Is your Sim the only Sim in the household ?

No, I have a ghost that stays at home while my main sim is at university. However, it's the sim who moved to university that collected everything

Does the ghost still have everything ? As said, the collections are tied to the household and not the Sim, no matter who collected them.

You should get the ones again that the Sim still has in their inventory.

yes, you will.

The collections are a bit of an issue if you have no other Sim in the household.
