grade cheat doesn't work /grades stuck

Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? try and increase teens grade without the cheat grades will not change try using the high school grade. cheat it doesn't work careers.promote. highschool
What happens when the bug occurs? trying to increase grade with cheat/ nothing happens
What do you expect to see? i have two teen sims which both of them had a's for grades and because it kept auto aging them, I went through cas to turn them back into teens and when i did their grades dropped and are stuck at c's and tried to use the high school grade cheat it doesn't work anymore since the high school expansion
Have you installed any customization with the game, e.g. Custom Content or Mods? Never used.
