when my sim reads the green lady’s tome the fishing skill is the only one that doesn't level up I only get cooking and gourmet cooking skill increases

- @Animallove101 What level are you currently at in gardening ? Think you only gain if between 4-8 or something
Currently level 5 and the time got cooking up from level 5-10 and gourmet cooking I’m pretty sure started at 1 all the till 10
Despite its name, I think The Green Lady’s Tome only helps with skill gain for cooking, gourmet cooking and fishing - not gardening.
(On a side note my sim was level 1 or 2 at fishing as well as gourmet cooking and 8 or 9 at cooking and got stressed from trying to decipher the tome 😃)
- @Gyldenloev Exactly, The Green is the title of the Lady. Although it is wierd, because Lady Mimsy, loves gardening < EAs own lore - and yet, her book doesn't help with the gardening skill. lol. Sometimes I wonder if they don't bother remembering their own lore.
The Green Lady's Lost Tome helps with Cooking, Gourmet Cooking and Fishing (see original blog post about it Reaper's Rewards FAQ)
What the blog post doesn't explain though is what level of skill you have to be in each one for it to start working! My sim is only gaining cooking and gourmet cooking skill from it at the moment, I've read elsewhere that you need to be Level 4 in fishing for the Tome to start raising your fishing skill. I don't know if that's true, but my sim is only Level 3 so I guess I'll see if the Tome starts increasing her fishing skill once I get her to Level 4!
Reading the green lady's tome has not been boosting any of the skills that it is supposed to. How do I fix this?
I am on PC with no mods.
- @Animallove101 They need to change the description of the tome in the rewards because it’s misleading. It doesn’t raise gardening, it raises gourmet cooking, that’s where the confusion is coming from. It’s a Bummer though because it really should raise gardening, hence the name green lady
I’ll have to try again and when I get my fishing to level 4th thanks
Fixed it to fishing, I thought I had changed previously but I guess I didn’t 😂
