Grim Reaper Rewards gone after crash

What expansions, game packs, and stuff packs do you have installed? I have all the expansion packs except the new lovelorn. I have all game packs. I have all stuff packs except fitness and the following kit packs: Country Kitchen, Bust the Dust, Courtyard Oasis, Industrial Loft, Blooming Rooms, Decor to the Max, and Desert Luxe. I also have the free holiday stuff.
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? I am not sure on this. This only happened after I completed the new grim reaper tasks for the first week and claimed the rewards. It was then the game crashed. After getting back into the game the rewards show claimed and the tasks completed but the rewards are gone from my sims inventory.
What happens when the bug occurs? I cannot find the first week's grim reaper rewards that I claimed before the crash. I am unable to redo the event tasks as they show completed and claimed.
What do you expect to see? The rewards in my inventory for completing the first week's tasks that were there prior to the game crashing.
Have you installed any customization with the game, e.g. Custom Content or Mods? Never used.

I completed the new grim reaper weekly challenge/tasks today on an existing character in an existing household. After completion and claiming all rewards, they showed in my inventory and the items I purchased to complete the tasks were where I placed them in the household. I went about playing the household as I normally do, and the game froze and crashed. Upon getting back into the game and this household and sim that I completed the grim reaper tasks on, the items purchased are nowhere to be found, the rewards that were in the sims inventory are gone. I still see the icon in the upper left of the grim reaper, but it shows all tasks completed and rewards claimed. So how do I get the rewards again?
