Grim's Event Banner Still Present after event

What expansions, game packs, and stuff packs do you have installed? laundry day, for rent, cats and dogs, blooming rooms, christmas stuff

What happens when the bug occurs? Banner for event that is over is still present
What do you expect to see? The Grim Reaper Event Banner in game
Have you installed any customization with the game, e.g. Custom Content or Mods? Not now. I've removed them.
Did this issue appear after a specific patch or change you made to your system? Neutral/Not Sure
I was unable to play any of the reapers rewards event since the end of the first week, dispute doing everything asked by support and following the threads closely. This includes the one saying that it's now closed and although they didnt fix the bigs before the end of the event they will do better in the future. Now the event banner will not go away even tho the event is over. I am somehow STILL stuck in limbo and no one answered my multiple questions about those of us who tried to play along but through no fault of our own missed out on the event and free content.
I would love to not have the constant reminder stuck on the screen every time i open the game.
Unfortunately we still have to wait longer. The sims team wants to give players additional time to unlock items. I was also hoping for this to finally be gone.
