Having to 'Set as front door' every time I leave the lot

What lot venue are you playing when this happens?

Are you using any mods that affect the doors?  Like a mod that adds extra options on a front door?  Is what you have happening something like what was going on for these players in this post?

Hi, so it's only on residential lots, as in the ones my sims live in. I don't have any mods that give doors extra options, I didn't know that was a thing.

It isn't like the For Rent bug... I don't play with the Residential Rentals. I'm not sure about the cause... it happened again today, a neighbour sim tried knocking on my sim's greenhouse door as the front door, so I set it again.

I've been having this problem as well. I have a large lot with a barn and a house. Every time I load the lot, it resets the barn door as the Front Door instead of the house door. The house and barn are not connected and are across the lot from each other.   All I can think is it happens because the barn door is closer to the lot edge than the house door. I feel that once I set a door as a front door it should remain set no matter the position of the other doors on the lot.

Can you tell when the front door resets?  Like on travel or on lot load in when you start to play?  Or does it reset while you play the lot after you reset it?  One thing that happens in some cases, is that if you have an outer door and then an inner door, like in a lobby, and the inner door is the one you set as the front door, the setting will reset to another door to the outside when you travel or load the lot.  The game won't let an inner door in that situation keep the setting as the front door.  Is that the set up you have?

It resets every time I reload the save game. Then while in that save it can change to another exterior door, either the door I have as the back door, or a greenhouse, (or in another save it's the door to my underground hideout for my werewolf sims.) This happens either when my sims leave the lot, or sometimes it'll just happen randomly while I'm going through my sims' day-to-day life without ever leaving the lot and I won't notice until a townie knocks on one of the other doors. I did use the repair game option on the EA App, so I'll see if that helps.

Yep, that's what my werewolf save game was, to check if it was a bug in all saves or just the new one I started with the crystal creations pack. It happens in both. I have deleted the localthumbcache too, since I thought it was because I hadn't updated my mods, and I always delete that when I remove or re-add mods.

Have you tested without any mods or CC in the game, not just any that affect doors?  It could be another mod you have that's causing it that one would not normally expect to affect the front door setting, especially if it is older.  You really do need to test a vanilla game just to rule out mods.
