What lot venue are you playing when this happens?
Are you using any mods that affect the doors? Like a mod that adds extra options on a front door? Is what you have happening something like what was going on for these players in this post?

Hi, so it's only on residential lots, as in the ones my sims live in. I don't have any mods that give doors extra options, I didn't know that was a thing.
It isn't like the For Rent bug... I don't play with the Residential Rentals. I'm not sure about the cause... it happened again today, a neighbour sim tried knocking on my sim's greenhouse door as the front door, so I set it again.
Can you tell when the front door resets? Like on travel or on lot load in when you start to play? Or does it reset while you play the lot after you reset it? One thing that happens in some cases, is that if you have an outer door and then an inner door, like in a lobby, and the inner door is the one you set as the front door, the setting will reset to another door to the outside when you travel or load the lot. The game won't let an inner door in that situation keep the setting as the front door. Is that the set up you have?

It resets every time I reload the save game. Then while in that save it can change to another exterior door, either the door I have as the back door, or a greenhouse, (or in another save it's the door to my underground hideout for my werewolf sims.) This happens either when my sims leave the lot, or sometimes it'll just happen randomly while I'm going through my sims' day-to-day life without ever leaving the lot and I won't notice until a townie knocks on one of the other doors. I did use the repair game option on the EA App, so I'll see if that helps.
It's just kind of confusing
