Hearing Aids vs. Earrings

Right now hearing aids and earrings can't be worn at the same time. While some piercing might interfere with wear the hearing aids sit, most of the traditional piercings are nowhere near the hearing aids. Is it too much to ask for my sim to have cute little strawberry earrings as well as the hearing aids? 

Aside from that the hearing aids are a great addition to the game and I really enjoy them. I hope this is something that's more because it's a new feature and it'll be fixed soon.
