@7d9405e15d1e20f4 I haven't added High School Years yet but I've done this myself before when I've recognised a piece of music in the Sims. It started in Sims 2 when I spotted Paramore and thought, that sounds like Hayley singing in Simlish!
If you go to your game options and go to the Music settings you will find all of the tracks/artist info added with each pack. Next to each one there's a Play button. You can play each track on the list until you recognise the track you are trying to identify.
Yep I've already gone through the music settings with the list of songs in-game. Sadly none of the songs added in the High School Years EP match with the one I'm trying to find. And oddly enough, there's no prom night radio station in the settings either, even though this song comes on when you play prom night music using one of the radios added in the High School Years EP.
So I'm confused whether the music in question is actually based on a real song, or just a random melody with some lyrics (Simlish) thrown in :/
