Alrighty, still no luck so maybe I should just create a bug report since it's apparently actually missing from the game? I just thought to wait out if someone has seen it in their game.
edit: I think it's kinda funny that when I try googling how to do this, I get my own forum post asking about it in the results.. :D
@siirysiir I finally saw the option to ask to be confidant in my game tonight. It is under friendly interactions. Not sure if it played a part in the option appearing but my sim was in a confident mood.
@dolldrms1 WOW thank you so much for posting this! I honestly thought that it's really missing from the game bc I've tried so long to get that and somehow the whole internet is completely devoid of the information if someone has really even seen this. Might I ask what was the relationship between these sims? Like approximately how many per cent friendly? Besties or no? Romantic?
EDIT: haha silly me, it's in the image but were they best friends and were they dating/married?
The tricky part with these is that since there is no info given abt how to _precisely_ do it (the description is pretty vague in the lifestyle tab) we can't really be sure if being confident had anything to do with triggering that social interaction option. :D But I will try again (when I get to that household), I had already lost hope so THANK YOU!
The sims in the pic are married and have an adopted child. I don't recall whether or not they are BFFs and am not playing that household at the moment. IIRC, both of the sims were in a confident mood when the option appeared but since this was the first time I've seen the option appear, I'm not positive what triggered it. I simply had them chatting late night after a club meeting at the house.
It's questions like this that make me miss the old Prima game guides. There was so much useful info in them and I always bought them, lol. At any rate, I'll post again if I encounter the option without both sims being "confident". Meanwhile, you can try getting both sims in confident moods to see if the option appears for you. Glad I can offer you something to try! 🙂
