I recently lost a horse with no notification or gravestone. The Grim Reaper didn’t appear; the horse just disappeared while sleeping, leaving my Sims with a "Mourning Horse" moodlet. I’ve had this horse die before on a different lot without issues, but this happened in a new save on the 'Canter Cottage' lot in the same world.

Did the horse die WHILE you had mods/cc and you removed them afterwards or did it happen without mods/cc ?
I had mods in my game when the horse died, but when it died, I exited the game and didn't save it. I removed the mods from my game and then played it without mods, and the horse still disappeared.
Do you still have a backup from before the horse died you'd be willing to share with me ?

To be sure, it was just the one horse and it doesn't happen on a regular basis ?
So far, it has only happened once. It hasn't occurred again because none of my horses are nearing the end of their lifespan yet. I started a new save to see if it would happen again, but it will take some time.
