House on Terrain

Hey @livygirl7 with which game is it that you are having an issue, I'm pretty sure it's Sims related but just want to know which one.

I've been playing Sims for 10 years and still can't get close to understanding terrain tools lol

@livygirl7 Could you post a screenshot of the situation?

Most of the times a pre-made house will buckle and show the effect that you describe. Best practice in this case would be to build a foundation on the hillside on which your pre-made house would fit. Best to make the foundation a bit bigger than the actual house to adjust it later. When the pre-made house has a basement/cellar it will be a lot harder to install that. In that case you could try to delete the basement first and then move the house to the new hillside. 

But like i said it will be a lot easier when we can see the situation on a screenshot.

hiya 🙂 I've been having the same issue and I fixed it by adjusting the foundation height to the height I wanted the hill and then using the terrain tools around it to hide the foundation. If the house has steps at the front of the house then you can delete them and then replace t hem when you are happy with the terraforming around the house 🙂) hope this helps!
