Household Lot Will Not Load Even When Mods Folder Is Not In Game

There is a specific household that will not load in my game. I have loaded other households in different worlds and they all loaded just fine. This lot that will not load is located in San Sequioa. I...

I was able to go into build mode without my mods folder in game and with the mods folder in game. But was unable to go into build mode after I evicted my Sims from the lot. The lot didn't start doing this until after the most recent update. Before the update, I was able to load the lot with no problem. I have not tried to bulldoze the lot because I don't want to lose their pics that are on the wall.

@ILoveSims3355 try saving the house to your library first. Also work on a backup save to test things.

Simply save under a new name, then do the testing on that new save. This way you won't loose anything.

    @crinrict Sooo...what am I testing on the new save exactly? Am I testing to see if the lot will load on a new save?

    @ILoveSims3355 Bulldozing the lot :D

    You didn't want to do that. Just do that on a backup. Not a completely new save. Just a new version of your save game.

    @crinrict Ok! I was able to evict my Sim family and I was able to access the lot and bulldoze the lot. Should I try and move a different family on the lot?

    @ILoveSims3355 Yes, test if it's the family or the lot that's the issue by testing the family in another lot and another family in that lot.

    @crinrict OK! So I was able to move another family on the lot but it was an empty lot. I went out on a limb and just exited to the main menu without saving and I reloaded the test save and I was able to access the lot with my Sims inside! so maybe a new save is what it needed? I'm going to see how the test save loads today.

    @ILoveSims3355 There are some issues with older lots so maybe the problem is the lot and not the family.

    Can you play the family on another lot in your save game ?

    (also, it's getting a bit too much trying to keep everyone's issue apart so sorry if you already tried that)

    @crinrict I've been playing in the test save and I was able to play the family on the lot but I keep getting an BE on the lot. I haven't loaded my original save as I've been playing in the test save. Since it's working out in that save, I'm going to make that my main save. So I guess it's safe to say that what you suggested to me worked?

    @ILoveSims3355 yes but you might need to create a rar file. Not sure if it's allowed as is. You'll need to try.
