How the game generate receptionist NPC?

Anybody would like to inform the process of how the game generate a receptionist NPC, especially at scientist lab?

I have tried so many trial and error.

Even paste the tray using MC Command Center to the "flagged" receptionist, Loki Beaker, into another sim. But after I create another Loki Beaker, he becomes the receptionist again. 

It seems that the game want the mad scientist to be sat down at front desk

    A random NPC will be chosen for this as well as the other Scientists. I think that a NPC with the Genius trait will be preferred.

  • Thank you for the insight Mr. 

    Out of the Beakers & Curious Brothers, only the Beakers have Genius trait.

    And I have managed to get rid Loki Beaker from his desk job by:

    1. Delete Loki

    2. Go to the active workplace first & let the game assigning Circe Beaker, who also got Genius trait, to be the receptionist.

        (I think it is better for Circe to be the receptionist than Loki, trying to make sense why Circe do not wear glasses in her workplace thanks to the capability of the game)

    3. Then make another Loki

    @jpkarlsen , thanks!  I never realized the receptionist usually has the genius trait! 🙂🤓
