How to age up children in Sims 4?

I've aged up the babies in Sims 4, but how do I age up the children?!

Hope you can help me!

    There are a couple ways you can age up sims in the Sims 4.

    Aging up your Sim using a Birthday cake:
    1. You can buy/bake a birthday cake
    2. Have your sim blow out the candles

    Aging up your Sim using cheats:
    1. Press control shift C at the same time
    2. Type in testingcheatsenabled true and
    3. Left click the sim you want to age up
    4. Select the option that says "age up" or "trigger age transition."

    It won’t let the kids blow the candles out though, I just accidentally aged the parent up.

    you need to place him at the midle of the table i hope i helped

    Just bake a cake for the child and put candles on it. The child can blow it out themselves. Hope I helped!

    Something that worked for me, was that you had to get the toddler to have a level three in at least three skills. Then you have them age up with a cake. Good luck :P

    To age up children in The Sims 4, you can use the birthday cake option. Open the game and navigate to the household with the child. Click on the cake icon in the top-right corner of the screen, which will bring up the “Age Up” option. Select the child you want to age up and choose “Age Up” from the menu. If the option isn’t visible, ensure that the child has access to a birthday cake and that any necessary age-up requirements have been met.
