how to create a mermaid

@yeldah52, so far I've only made on in CAS when I started a new family.  When you go into CAS, it will give you a default Sim.  For now, ignore the default Sim and click on the buttons on the bottom left of the screen (I think it is a plus sign), and a little list pops up -- choose the icon that is like a swirl and says "Occult".  From there (depending on which packs you have installed) you can choose between a Mermaid, An Alien, and a Vampire.  Click on the Mermaid icon.  From there you can make your Mermaid.  (You can also now delete the other (default) Sim the game gave you when you entered CAS.) 

A Mermaid has 2 forms: a land form and a water form.  You can link or unlink these forms (for example, you may want to have the ocean form have a different skin color or face shape, so you would unlink the forms.  If you want both forms to have the same features (at least for upper body) you can link the forms.  🙂

There is also a way to become a Mermaid in-game with Mermadic Kelp, but I have not encountered that yet!   When I find it, I will let you know! 😉
