For example: Two married Sims with flirt with the other Sims' spouse, and it won't be until they have already raised their love bar that I realize they have done this. It seems to happen at random. All of these Sims are my own and living in my house. I control them, yet at the same time they are taking matters into their own hands to flirt with each other.

@wuebker1992 I noticed this happens when in flirty mood with specific traits: cheerful and music lover, not sure about others. I find this annoying as my Heir's pregnant wife is flirting with this mother...

My sims husband keeps getting in flirty moods and flirting with others which in turn makes my sim upset and keeps him that way because of the deeply wounded sentiment that takes ages to go away. I eventually got so sick of the moodlets interfering with everything I do and divorced him and made him move out entirely. I really wanted to raise a family but can't really do that with my husband flirting with everything that moves. It's been a year there's no excuse for why this isn't fixed. It's ridiculous they'd leave such game breaking bugs in.

Is there any way to get my married/couples Sims to stop accepting and reciprocating flirting from Sims other than their partner?? I keep having Sims accidentally cheat on each other bc a good friend randomly flirted with them and they'll accept it and reciprocate it. This happens with all of my couples even if I monitor it. The game mechanics seem to completely ignore relationship statuses now

I tried to marry the two sims and on their wedding day the bride kissed her best friend In front of the groom. Plz tell me this is getting fixed it’s so frustrating.

@Khanistavv I just tend to make most of my sims loners, asexual, or both. 🤷🏼♀️Other than that, all I can recommend is never socialize if flirty and immediately stop talking to any npc that shows up flirty.

@wuebker1992 Do you have Eco Living, and use the NAP's? If so, is the Share the Love NAP active? If not, I don't know. I use MCCC to disable random flirting.

The same thing is happening to me. Both my sim and her husband have the loyal trait and something is telling me it’s a bug with that new trait because it never happened before that once I turned off NAP. Nap is off and now it’s happening since that trait came out. I restarted the game as my save point was recent and it showed he didn’t have a relationship bar with her and then all of a sudden it appears when he wasn’t even talking to his wife’s friend. It’s so frustrating because it messes up the storyline we have for them.

that same sim that he “cheated” with also has a romantic bar with her toddler. I don’t get it

@wuebker1992Hi hun. It's a bug. It's going on at same time as mean interactions. They always been flirty but even seems over the top since August, autonomous flirts and mean interactions. They said they would fix it early December, wait a bit more. If you really feel this is a issue, download MCCC Mod and disable mean and flirty autonomous interactions on MC tuner, meanwhile.

Came here to say flirting is excessive. I play on both PS5 and PC. I play with mods to curb annoying behavior on PC but playing on PS5 its shocking coming from a modded game how they flirt so much and so easily. I don't remember them being THIS unfaithful before even tho they already flirted much before. This is too excessive so I'll be sticking to PC with MCCC because the flirting behavior is a turn off for me playing on PS5.

@KhanistavvHonestly, the only way I know of to limit this behavior is with mods. This is something that has frustrated a lot of players for a long time (myself included), and it's definitely an aspect of the game that could benefit from some tuning, especially for console players unable to use mods.
Personally, I use the Wonderful Whims mod to adjust their relationship autonomy, so if you're a PC/Mac user and are willing to use mods, you can give that a try, or MC Command Center.
