How to get Sims to stop cheating/flirting with other Sims

Product: The Sims 4 Platform:PC Which language are you playing the game in? English How often does the bug occur? Occasionally (10% - 49%) What is your current game version number? 1.91.186.1030 ...

Is there any way to get my married/couples Sims to stop accepting and reciprocating flirting from Sims other than their partner?? I keep having Sims accidentally cheat on each other bc a good friend randomly flirted with them and they'll accept it and reciprocate it. This happens with all of my couples even if I monitor it. The game mechanics seem to completely ignore relationship statuses now

@Khanistavv I just tend to make most of my sims loners, asexual, or both. 🤷🏼‍♀️

Other than that, all I can recommend is never socialize if flirty and immediately stop talking to any npc that shows up flirty.
