    deadncrispy​  I have had this going on randomly since the new update. It seems similar to an issue I've had before but more frequent for me currently. In the past there have been random times when it seems that my game stops responding to a certain BB action like placing something or the [ ] brackets cheat to enlarge or shrink an item, etc. This has been happening for me now with placing items, or random certain ones, at random times since the update yesterday. 

    In the specific case of the current large update, I would recommend that you start with closing your game, and then run a game repair in the EA App. Let it fully complete, then re-enter your lot. That worked for me for a while, along with seeming to bring in some update/event aspects I didn't notice before, so I feel this was important to do.

    To get the issue to go away when it randomly re-appeared since then, I have had success with:

    • Run a game repair.
    • Save and exit. You can experiment with where you exit to and see if normal BB behavior kicks back in...
      Most of the time I can just exit to 'Manage Worlds', then re-enter the lot and the BB behavior is back to normal.
      If that is not enough to knock it back to normal try exiting to the 'Main Menu' or exit then re-enter the game. 
    • You could also try, when the game is closed, removing the localthumbcache.package file, as a bit of a Hail Mary pass.

    Edit: I am on Mac, have all packs, fully updated, no mods or cc.
