How to make Morgyn unemployed again?

My Morgyn got a job as a musician. Is there any way to make him unemployed back but so he still be a sage? I got to know that basically there is no way to change the career paths without getting the Sims to the household, so is there a way to do so but he will be a sage again?

Unfortunately, this cannot be changed. The game by design will from time to time create new sages. So it's actually not worth making friends with this sage you will meet. There are three ways to get new spells and potions.
- The first is to become familiar with the sage enough to ask him for magic training. After such training, you will get a new spell and recipe.
- Another way is to practice magic in the field you care about. After three series of exercises, you will learn a new charm and sometimes even one exercise is enough. You'll learn recipes for the potion by experimenting in a magic pot.
- The last way is to buy these recipes for spells and potions in the magic shop.

While playing I realised that if played sim is not in magic realm in the working hours of the sage, they will not go to the work and be replaced. The fact that if the sim knows what job other sim have you can also see the working hours really helps. Also in other topic someone told that you can find the sages on the list of the not played Sims and mark them with the heart, they should not get the job then.

@nikasty There are 6 sages in my game and all of them have jobs. Those 6 include the original 3, Morgyn, L., and Simeon plus 3 that the game created later. They still act like sages when I go to the Realm so their having been assigned a job by the game has no impact.
