Hey @SimsCurrant I looked at your problem last night but I was having trouble visualizing it. Let me see if I have the right picture in my head today...
You have a sim whose bathing/swimsuit has accessories like a hat, sunglasses, etc. for lounging around the pool. When they go swimming those items stay on. You're wanting them to take those off when they go in the pool. If that's the case I've never found a mod that can fix that. I have MCCC but I use it for population settings and teleport commands when working with poses. I'm afraid I don't know a lot about what it can do with outfits, and I'm not familiar with any mods that could possibly fix the problem but I have a workaround of my own.
I don't fill all the available outfit slots in sleep, athletic, or the two weather specific categories. I usually leave one or two open in all four to use as sort of extra slots in the others. I love my ladies to lounge in style poolside too, so I use one of those slots outside of the swimsuit category and I create the outfit with all the accessories and put it in one of those slots. Then I recreate that same outfit in the swimsuit category minus the items I don't want them going into the pool with. If you put the variation with accessories in one of the non-swimsuit categories when they go to get in the water they'll automatically switch into the swimsuit without those items because that's the outfit under swimsuits. The drawback is if you have more than one swimsuit that has accessories you can still create versions without them and place those in swimsuits but there's no way I know of to tie the two versions together. When your sim goes to get in the water they could spin into a different accessory free swim outfit that doesn't match what they were wearing a moment ago.
Hopefully that was helpful, or at least we can get your post bumped up and get it noticed by someone else who can fix it.

This may sound really stupid question, but do you mean swimwear (if so, solutions above) , or actual nude mesh sims wear when bathing/taking a shower?
If latter, do you mean actual clothing or accessories?
