The sims don't eat their packed lunches

Yes, I had the mom Sim diligently pack all of those bagged lunches, only to find they remained unneatened in the kids'  inventory, left to rot. Gross. It was a nice idea and a great thing for a Sim to do trying to get their kids off to school, but they all came home exhausted and hungry --- or should I say HANGRY. So messed up.

I think this broke when they added the fix to Sims not refilling needs during work/school. Packed lunches are not being recognized in inventory and auto consumed. Tested w/ and w/out mods.
