how to stop townies from autonomously moving in with each other?

the problem is that townies will autonomously marry other townies and move in. the problem with this is i don't like how it splits up families and moves sims i don't want to move. for example, earlie...

If you use MCCC mod, I'm pretty sure you're able to change the settings so that this won't happen. 

-> I didn't have time to go through the whole mod, but you should look into marriage and moving settings at least.

If you don't use this mod, there's one option to enable/disable 'fill empty lots' in the gameplay settings. I haven't tested this but it might help.

hmm ive gone through these settings and theyre all turned off but yeah its probably somewhere in the mod i'll just have to look through it
