How to turn off time-limited events
I want to do the Reaper's Rewards quest in one save but I don't want it popping up in every household in every save. How do I turn it off?

I always close the EA App (as well as the background one) with Task Manager for performance issues, yet I still get the quest.
Not only is it a nuisance visually but it's immersion breaking, I'm not playing a sandbox game to be forced into quests ! Why isn't there an option to opt out ?!
Seriously this is not an MMO or a single player quest game. Save it for My Sims or free play. I can’t believe I have to wait until this event is over to play my game.
Finally, they fix most of the bugs from Lovestruck and then they add this broken event without an opt out button.
