High enough. but that is completely irrelevant to the issue.
I have been able to compete some more but it seems I am only allowed to do it once a day? But nothing in the game actually states that anywhere in text, and I have seen simfluencers claiming that one of the features/upgrades from the sims 3 horse stuff is that you can compete more than once a day. So somebody is lying, or there is a serious bug.
@sparky619 I was just wondering if it happens after you get higher on the skill because it didn't happen for me when I played before and now it's not working.
I've now tried a new save as well and a random Sim and it's not working so I just don't get it.
Was just trying to find some common ground.
@CelseyKay24 It still shouldn't randomly unlock all the levels. But it might be a GUI issue ?
EDIT
This is what I've unlocked and this is how it should be.

Hear me out...
Is it randomly unlocking the levels OR
Is it unlocking only after the horse does it's one competition per day, because then it's showing whats unlocked for the rider and not the horse?

No. It is randomly unlocking all the levels. I only have one horse. When I first had the issue, I only won one competition. So I should have only been able to access four beginner competitions and one intermediate. But it opened all of them up to me even though my sim did not qualify. If you read my initial post, I said exactly this already.
the skills are irrelevant because you can enter with lower skill, it’s just the recommended level, doesn’t seem to bar you.
it didn’t say anywhere in my game about the horse only being able to enter once per day. There’s literally NO text anywhere that states that. I even checked in the lessons and horse competitions were barely even mentioned. So I am unsure if that is even true what you are claiming, because it seems more like a very big bug (especially since simfluencers like lilsimsie were talking about competing more than once per day during the review video).

In the OP you said it unlocked after your first competition, and it's resetting everyday. So it would stand to reason that that's due to it showing competitions your sim can compete in and not your horse, since the horse can't compete anymore that day.
I.E. they are showing unlocked because a horse is not selected. Bet if you have a second horse. It would show which ones the new horse qualifies for and lock the rest, once the new horse is selected.
This explains why it's resetting and why it showed that you had no horse on the lot after your first competition.
Also when you first click 'enter competition', before you select one, on the right side of the pop up is where it says horses can only do one competition a day. If you look at the photo the other guy previously shared. It's the 4th sentence on the right side.

@CelseyKay24 No, it's showing everything unlocked if you JUST participate in a competition, even stuff you shouldn't be able to do. It's going back to normal on the next day so it seems to be a GUI issue (Still think there's a bug here).
I need to check if I can participate in something I should not be able to if I buy a second horse :D@sparky619 It does say so on my screenshot if you read the text.
- 3 years ago@crinrict the text in my game is missing that first sentence? Mine doesn’t say ANYTHING about a horse competing only once per day. I literally checked and read through it so many times. It only says about foals and pregnant horses not being allowed.

@sparky619
I can see that. It's very strange. On your first screenshot you do have the text of only being able to compete once a day. It's just not there on the competition itself.
Usually in the troubleshooting process, I try to gather some info to see if there's any rhyme why something happens. Since it was fine for me and then suddenly it wasn't, I tried to find a reason for that (aka higher riding skill for example meaning, the riding skill has some bug that unlocks everything).
But the problem is that the whole GUI unlocks when you can't participate (currently trying second horse theory) and that is confusing.
EDIT
So I tested a second horse and that's what the GUI looks like right after my first horse particiapated
So it seems the GUI adjusts according to available horses and if there is no available horse, it just unlocks everything. Maybe locking everything would be better.
Still don't understand why you only have half the textSee beginning of this post. Also tested a family with no horse and they have the same. All unlocked but since no horse, they can't participate.

My game says you can enter a contest once a day. It has allowed just that. I don't generally enter once per day because of training but it's working right in my game.
