I am not sure if I am the only one but I have looked everywhere and can't get an answer. I am having my sim try to hype her next video and every time I do it gives me a question mark above her like something is missing. Do I need to buy something else in order for her to do this interaction?

There can be two reasons for this.
1. You bought a video station but did not buy or add a chair to it. Video station to operate must have a chair.
2. You use an adult mod and some animation has damaged these stations.
In the first case, the solution is simple. Buy a chair.
In the second case - create a small room in a movie studio and put there video station that is already there. Save this room to the library to have video stations always working

I bought the video station with the chair and I am playing on the ps4 so I do not have any mods. I can not think of what the problem could possibly be. I have tried moving it to the middle of the room in case it was blocked by something and I have bought all components just in case I needed one to do this interaction but that doesn't seem to be the case either.
I have only made 2 videos since buying it.
Is interaction with a video station, which is in a film studio - where actors work - also does not work?
if this video station works then the only option is to save the video station from the movie studio to the library as it was described in the first post. To save this video station you must use the code.

Because it is ps4 and not a computer there is no easy game repair option. I see only one possibility of repairing this.
Please try clearing your cache by power-cycling your console. You can turn your console off then unplug it for 60 seconds. After that, you can plug it in, turn it back on, and try to access the game again.
The only other option is to reinstall the entire game.
It doesn't work at the studio where the acting is done either. I use the hype video interaction and my sim waves there hand in the air and a bubble with a question mark appears above there head. I have only noticed my sim do that when something is in the way or they can not interact with it. I has been the same for every save file I have used the video station in.

It looks like the whole interaction with the video station in the game is broken. If cleaning the cache in the manner described above does not help, you should reinstall the game.
On the PC, reinstalling the game does not remove the current game and does not touch the saves. I do not know how it is on the console. I hope it works the same way.
