i accidentally downloaded sims 4 legacy edition

I accidentally downloaded the sims 4 legacy edition even though my computer can run the non legacy version (thought my computer could handle less than it could, but was wrong). Is there a way I can d...

    Go to the Origin/My games Library - right-click on TS4 and select properties or game data. (My version of Origin is not in English so I don't know what the equivalent of this term is for you)
    Then select advanced startup options. Change from 32 bit to 64 bit there
    Then fix the game in Origin:
    Once more right-click on TS4 select the option "repair game"

    The first time launch the game from Origin - not from the desktop icon

Did the same and lost EVERYTHING! All my old sims. saves, games, mods (cc) ..... all gone. None showed up with 'legacy'. Just totally crappy!

    I tried this but it didnt come up with any of those options for me! Im using a Mac 64 bit and it wont let me uninstall sims 4 legacy so I cant play sims 4 Discover university
