Did you make the lot yourself, or download it from the gallery.. the main thing I've noticed, that often stops this (or a stove action) is that some simmers when making a lot and sharing to the gallery use the moveobjects on cheat, to manipulate cupboards and so forth, that often impede on the footprint for items such as fridges. It could also be one of the saucepan holders that are attached to the ceiling, but too close.
One way to check, is to go into build mode, ensure walls are up fully, zoom out to view the placement.. and check on surrounding cupboards by clicking and moving them a bit to see how they are placed.. (ie: not even slightly 'within' the fridge itself) or any cupboards above, but not separate.
