I can't remove my custom CAS background

I was cleaning out my mods so I could play cottage living, and I noticed there was a UI issue in CAS. I moved all my mods out of my mod folder, I deleted localthumbcache, I ended up deleting my mod folder, nothing fixed it/nothing removed the background. I ended up uninstalling and deleting all game files, before reinstalling my game, and when I booted the game back up after reinstallation, the issue was still there. I've included a picture of the UI issue

  • @MysticalNinj  Do you use OneDrive or iCloud, and if so, is it possible that the service redownloaded your mods from cloud storage onto your hard drive?  One obvious tell is if your saves are still present, or any other user content for that matter.  The solution there is to remove the unwanted content from both your hard drive and cloud storage.

It turns out that the game directory I had saved for Sims 4 (the one Origin was directing me to) wasn’t actually the directory that my game was pulling files from. So, of course, I hadn’t actually removed any of my mods. I’m pretty sure it was twistedmexi’s bb free cam mod that was causing the ui issue, as that mod has done the same thing in the past
