I think many of us feel silly. I didn't realize I had to select Small Business, in order for my Sim to purchase the new lot I just built for him. I went round and round and then finally lessons popped up directing me to what I needed. First time I've ever truly appreciated that addition to the game! My Sim and his eldest son now run the Tavern: The Four Cypress. He didn't make a whole lot that first nine hours; but he's also paying for two employees, his son and the eldest daughter of his best friend 20 Simoleons. It rocks. I had a blast yesterday.
