I don't have enough points to make the wooden throne. I did all the tests that they told me to do except for the optional ones. I don't know how to get more points, and I can't move on to the next Quest until I can unlock the wooden throne.

Do you still have other tasks that can be done, such as having your sim spend time outdoors? Try doing that, then you will get the points needed so that you can claim the wooden throne in the event rewards section.Then the option will appear on the woodworking table to craft the throne.
