i have a pending payment from paypal even though i already paid
last week i used paypal for the first time to buy an expansion pack (i usually use my prepaid card) and today i place a second order for a bundle. the payments went smoothly and everything downloaded as it should. but now, on my activities page, it shows two pending payments to "electronic arts, inc" even though it also shows the ones to "EA swiss sarl" (i am in italy) as already happened. i am very confused and afraid it will make me pay twice! the payments to "EA swiss sarl" say "automatic payment", while the ones to "electronic arts, inc" say "order placed".

In some cases you may see an additional authorization charge that stays pending until the transaction finishes processing.
Typically those authorization charges are automatically removed and should not result in an additional payment. In most cases that happens within 72 hours though it can vary depending on the payment provider.
You should be able to take a look through your order history here to see the status of any transactions. You can reach out to an advisor if you have specific questions about any particular transactions or it appears that those authorizations finalize and don't disappear after a few days.
If it's still pending after a few days I'd definitely suggest reaching out to PayPal instead to make sure nothing's holding things up on that end.
