I wish townies will stay in their own worlds

I keep seeing Nancy Langrab every morning outside jogging, but she lives in Oasis Springs and my Sims live in the more modest area of Willow Creek. Isn't Nancy and her family like super rich and owns the electric company? Those b!#ches just cut my Sims' electricity too.

And also one of the Villarreals, who are like the richest family in Windenburg, I keep seeing some of the Villareals outside walking almost everyday. Hope they fix this or something?

  • @bae281995 Those townies belong to the NPC's that fill up the game. The more packs you have the more these Sims will dilute in your game play. I think these appearances are intended. So I don't think it can be fixed. If you choose for the option to fill empty houses you will probably be able to see more Sims. Another option is to create more households and let these households live in your worlds.

    Have fun playing.   😉

I see. I just pretend they're maybe meeting a friend or something haha

  • @bae281995 I agree with what your saying, it was way different in the sims 2 we didn't have to deal with other household sims walking around in every area your sim moved to, just NPC townies we never saw before. I get tired of seeing sims walking around from Island Living in every neighborhood my sims moved too the same ones and the same sims. I have ever pack and I filter my game with my own townies and the game still pull the same ones and not mine.

@Trismagistos It don't work, I have created my own townies and also empty houses and bulldozed some and I still see the same ones and I have all the packs for my game but paranormal , vampires and Moschino Stuff

@LonaBoom I am sorry to read that it doesn't work. I play a rotational game with over 25 households (all own creations) in all the worlds. I did not empty any houses (fill empty houses is switched on) and I never see unfamiliar NPC's like the Landgrab's or the Villareal's. I do see my own Sims (over 140 at this moment) And I don't mind seeing them in all the worlds. Not seeing Landgrab's etc. could also happen because they have been taken on in other families and over the years they died, became ghosts and are no longer in my gameplay.

As I stated in my earlier post NPC's will fill up the game no matter what. So when you don't want to see said families you will have to cull them. Expelling won't help because the will only reside 'not in this world'.

    Have fun playing. 😉

@Trismagistos It's okay, I see more of my created townie college sims more and I love seeing the ones I created fill up the dorm with my sims, that way I know what my sims is dealing with. Some of my townie created butlers spawn in for work and some vendors I created too. That helps
  • @bae281995 I agree with this for certain townies, like vampires, Star Wars, some Granit Falls NPCs, the servos from university, or just the weird NPCs that seem out of place outside of their maps. It is really odd playing in Evergreen Harbor and having other map townies as locals for the NAPs though.
  • @bae281995 I know what you mean!  For me, it's her husband Geoffrey.  That guy jogs a lot in my game and he shows up at almost every lot my sim goes to.  lol  The only exception is Sulani which is odd.  Many of the Island Living characters show up in other worlds but I rarely see any sims from other packs in Sulani. 🤨
