Idea for gameplay or expansion

I have an idea for the gameplay or an expansion that I have been longing for for so long! 💡 

It would be a dream come true if somehow you could choose to start your game earlier in the timeline, and only buy stuff according to that timeframe. With each generation you would move forward a decade and unlock new inventions, technology, furniture, clothing and hairstyles. 

Wear the clothes and hairstyles to match and decorate your house accordingly.. 

How about starting in the 1800th century or 1900’s and you get to go through 1910’s, 1920’s, 1930’s, 1940’s, 1950’s, 1960’s, 1970’s, 1980’s, 1990’s, 2000’s, 2010’s and so on.. Or simply you get to chose where you’d like to start 🤷🏻‍♀️

This way it’s more of a challenge to pile up your money and build the fortune too, since you have to buy new stuff to keep up with all the improvements and style trends.

What do you think about this idea? Anyone else interested in this? 😍

    I Think that's a really cool idea considering I was just playing the decades challenge! However I don't think they would add all of it considering it would probably take a massive amount of effort. They could add a pack like back to the future in sims 3 but instead you can go either forward or back in time and your could live in those worlds. They would probably group the decades up like 1800s, 1900s so on instead. I would like to see some kind of progression where you unlock items overtime too.

    @Noxine Yeah! I always want something with "time element" in the game. I think it would be so cool if it's something like Time Traveller pack or at least, an aspiration or a "challenge" that comes with it, something like the Strangerville.
