"In their shadow" scenario

Hello Simmers,

I'm currently trying to do the In their shadow scenario but I'm geting stuck in my progression as I can't manage to complete the daily task. I keep making my Sim programming, and her job panel takes it into account that I did programming, but the scenario pannel doesn't. I'm at a loss. What is it exactly I should be doing to complete the daily task demanded by the scenario pannel?
