My funding's are fine. If like the other apartments and penthouses it'll appear red and tell me how much I need in order to purchase the place furnished or unfurnished. Expect, when I go to buy it knowing I can afford it, it is still grayed out.
"Keep Furniture" is meant for the old house. Whether I wish to sell all of the items I bought in that place or keep them (which would move them into my family inventory). I've tried both options and it doesn't make a difference. The option Furnished is still grayed out.
Since this isn't a house from gallery, I can't saved the place. It's an apartment. There are 2 units in the building and the one I wish to move into won't let me move in furnished, even though I 'can' afford it.
Do you have Mods or CC that could be conflicting/broken after the recent update (it broke many of them)? If so you could try removing them and seeing if that fixes it. Whether or not you need to see if it is Mods or CC, I would run a game repair. (Open Origin, click 'Game Library' then right-click Sims 4 > Repair Game.)
Also, did you try moving your family/household into the gallery (evict them) before moving into the house to see if that made a difference (vs. moving directly from another home)?
If all else fails you could start a new, fresh game (additional game don't overwrite your current game), then go to that lot you want to move into and save the lot to the gallery, go to your current game and download the one that you saved to replace the one that is being glitchy.

I have 0 mods. Nothing that would or could conflict with the game. All I have is a few packs and the main packs. I tried evicting them and moving them in as well. I don't wish to start a fresh game because I'd lose my progress with everything else I was doing. Her job her fame, friends, and relationships would start over wouldn't it? I get I'll be able to choose a new home from the beginning but it defeats the purpose of what I was doing and from what I've seen and looked up you can't save apartments as lots. I only see tutorials on how to build apartments and gain already build ones from the gallery for single 1 unit penthouses.

@Kiki-Inuyoshyy I'm sorry... I was probably not clear on this... I didn't mean for you to use the new game to play (as you are correct, your sim would loose social and other items, so you would want to carefully research and decide what was lost and how to retain what'a most important if you tried that route...
My intend for the new game was to use it to go to that lot you want to move into and save the lot to the gallery, go to your current game and download the one that you saved to replace the one that is being glitchy. Did you do the game repair? You also have no CC?
Hmmm... if apartments cannot be saved you could also try seeing if clearing the cache helps? Please refer to this article: http://www.carls-sims-4-guide.com/help/cache.php
Curious, did you try this move-in with this family on a different lot to see if the issue is only happening in this particular lot?

I've noticed that if I mess up when moving into an apartment the furniture is gone for good. You can confirm this by entering the apartment from manage world via the buy/build icon at the bottom right. If you enter the apartment and the furniture is gone then it is gone. You can quit without saving if that is not an option then maybe a back up from earlier?
Worse case scenario and you want the apartment as it was, you can start a new saved game. Then enter the apartment from manage worlds and upload each room to the gallery.. or your tray, switch back to your save and place the rooms.
