Is For Rent still corrupting/breaking save files?

Thinking about finally buying For Rent but I noticed the common issue of the pack corrupting/breaking save files was seemingly not addressed in the latest patch. Can anyone with the pack let me know...

Then yes, it's still happening—the underlying bug hasn't been addressed. But as you can see, there are workarounds, and you could also keep backup saves if you wanted. Whether it's worth buying the pack and managing the risk is up to you.
