Thanks, I have both of those turned off but the game still starts to auto-update now when I open the launcher. It also won't let me play TS4 without the updates unless I go offline first.
To be sure, it auto-starts when you start EA app not when you try to start the game ? You do need to go to offline mode to start the game if you're not updated.
For me it's still working as to that it doesn't auto-update when I start EA app. It does tell me there's an update and I usually update before starting the game so I don't know about that part.
Have you tried turing the toggle on, restarting EA app and then turn it back off ?
