Is there a way to recover a build from tray files?

Hi, I accidentally deleted a save and lost a building I spent a lot of time on. I was wondering if there’s any way of getting it back?

I understand, that the gameplay is lost, but could I recover the build from the tray folder? If yes, how?

    @r8dhvgqxnda4

    If it was in Tray you would have it in your library. So if you do not have it in your library then the Tray files can not help you. Try to see if you can restore an older save.

  • @r8dhvgqxnda4 You could also check the trash on your computer and see if the save file is still recoverable - or check a backup if you backup your computer. The build is only recoverable without the save if you had also saved it to your library. I generally save any and all lots I'm happy with to my library, even before I start playing. Then I just go through the library later and might delete things I'm no longer happy with, have too many of, or that were built with mods I no longer have.
  • My tray is full with files from 2018 to 2023 and I do not have that many in my gallery, so I think I might have it there. However I have no idea how to find it.

    In the Gallery mode, click to your Library. That's the items you saved to your Library while you were in Build mode. You can use the search or just scroll through items. If you didn't save the build to your Library or upload to the Gallery, though, there's nothing there to recover.
