Is there an easy way to verify CC is broken?

Hello Everyone,

I was pretty new on Custom Content before the update, now I don't know how to identify easily if a CC requieres update after the new patch, is there any way or any program that could help me identify this? Without having to add one by one and opening to verify if it is working?

Im afraid if I add the CC back into the game it will affect it.

Thank you!

  • @AlejaAranguren Here's a link to a Broken/Updated Mods and CC thread on The Sims 4 Forum site. If you scroll down a bit there are posts on known broken CC items. If you use mods this site also has lots of info on which mods are obsolete and which ones have been updated

    .

Here is another Mods and CC tracker site I like to use:

    https://simsonic.weebly.com/modtracker.html

Even with these tracker lists there is always some risk when using mods or CC. The method you mentioned about adding one or two at a time and verifying that they work is how I generally do it. Whenever I see something that does not look right or does not function properly, or if it's causing a lot of Last Exception reports, then I quit without saving and remove the item from my Mods folder. I'll also clear my game cache by deleting the localthumbcache.package file in my Sims 4 folder. In fact, I delete the localthumbcache.package file any time I make any change to my Mods folder.

Good luck, I hope this helps :D
